Yes you can. Conversations is an area for open discussion, divided into Buying and Selling categories. You can sell or promote your services in a post in the Offering (selling) Section by going to More, then Conversations > Offering  

Yes you can. Conversations is an area for open discussion, divided into Buying and Selling categories. You can request recommendations for professionals or companies you want to work with in the Looking For (buying) Section by going to More, then Conversations > Looking For 

 

From the Members tab you can search for any users on the site. If you are not sure of their name, you can search by job title, by company or both. 

You can add another user as a Connection from the Members tab. When they accept your request, you will have permission to send them a private message. Private messages are secure and are only visible to the sender and the recipient(s), much like an email. 

 

Tagging a user in a public post by typing @ followed by their name will also generate a notification to alert them that they have been mentioned by youThis can be read by all members.  

Any user that you are connected to on the site can send you a private message. Company profiles can only message you if you have messaged them first. Check Connections to see who can contact you by going to Members then tap on the filter icon on the left-hand side to select to see your Connections.

Groups Tab

Kmend Groups (also known as Communities) are a place to connect online with communities that you are a real-life member of or groups that you have an interest in. There are three types of Groups  

  • public everyone has access to join without approval  
  • private and available by requesting access 
  • hidden, access is by invitation only  

Go to the Groups tab to join Groups that you would like to contribute to.

Here you can view a full list of all Kmend Members. Use the filter function to adjust how you see the list or to see only your connections.  

More tab 

Here you will find a link to your Private Message inbox, Conversations, Photos you have uploaded, our Kmend Blog and our new Courses section. 

Yes! The blog is where longer form articles, ideas or informative pieces can be published. While you can read all posts on the app, you can submit a post for publication on the desktop site. We’d love for our members with something to say to submit a blog. Any user can submit a blog via ‘Blog Submission’ on the main menu on the desktop site. Each post will be reviewed by the Kmend team before publication 

Private messages remain private between the sender and the recipient(s) just like an email. Every recipient will be visible to all included on the email, there is no option to BCC a member.  

Profiles if you write a message on another member’s profile page, other members will also be able to see it. 

Group/Community posts are visible to all members of that group but not to anyone outside of the group. Group updates will appear in group members’ activity feeds also.  

Conversations and their replies are visible to all members of Kmend.  

Blog posts once they have been published to the blog are publicly visible to anyone, this includes logged out members and non-members.   

My updates any updates that you post to the activity feed or on your profile page will also appear on the Activity feed of all Kmend members. 

When you open the app, the login page appears. There is a Forgotten Password link under the password field.

 

Click on this link, enter your email address and we will send an automatic email to you with a link to reset your password.  

Tap on the More tab and then tap on Settings at the bottom. Tap on Login Information and add in your new password, then Save.  

If you would like to tailor the notifications you receive from the Kmend app, please visit the More tab, then Settings > Notification Settings. From here you can choose your own notification preferences. You can select whether to receive notifications for various activities via the app, email or website; a mixture of these or none of them. 

To set who can view the entries you provide for your profile page, please visit the More tab, then Settings > Privacy Settings. From here you can select if various elements are public, visible to all members, visible only to your connections on Kmend or visible only to you 

Closing an account can be done on the desktop website or by sending a request to info@kmend.com. 

On the desktop site, click on your profile photo to open the main menu and select Account. On the Account page, the option to Delete Account is available on the bottom of the menu on the left-hand side. Click on this, you will be asked to confirm your choice and once you confirm your account deletion will be processed. Please note that this is a permanent and irrevocable action.
